| Little did we know back in 2005 that a small motorcycle ride would grow and keep growing to help so many children with Autism and their families. It all started with a couple of guys from UAW Local 245 sitting around at break time wanting to do something to help a fellow co-worker Kevin Chrenenko, Kevin has a son name Victor. Victor has Autism. That is how this great non-profit organization “Ride For Autism” was born. To show the BIG HEART that the Chrenenko Family has, they did not want a dime that was raised through this GREAT Event. Instead, Kevin suggested that we donate the money to the local Autism Society of America (ASA) Chapter in Macomb County, Michigan. He said it will benefit many more families than just his. So upon The Chrenenko’s suggestion, that is exactly what we did. In 2005, Ride For Autism at their first Event had 56 bikes, traveled a 60mile route and raised $8,000 . We have rolled past our seventh year anniversary. We are proud to say we have raised over $80,000 that benefits Macomb / St. Clair County ASA and Autism Connections of the Judson Center. RFA is proud to announce Rachael Adams of Detroit as the "AMBASSADOR" of Ride For Autism! We are looking forward to continue and more success with what Rachael will bring to the table!!! Welcome aboard Rachael!!! Ride For Autism has started the planning of the 8th Annual Ride For Autism and we are working to make it BIGGER and BETTER then in the past years!
